I am an artist born in India, now based in Canada (Kitchener-Waterloo). I have always been drawn to art from a very young age, but have discovered my passion for painting in the last few years. I enjoy the sublime transparency of water colours, the vibrant boldness of acrylics and bringing life into my charcoal sketches. I like to take inspiration from the colours of nature and the myriad shades of human emotions. I love to explore & experiment constantly with various media and styles and am also greatly influenced by the various art techniques and practices of ancient India. Currently I am  a member of the Kitchener Waterloo Society of Artists and have been actively involved in local art exhibitions and events in the last couple of years. - Moumita Roychowdhury
